# Timothy Gaull

> Timothy Gaull is an independent consultant in Nashville, Tennessee who helps owner-led businesses (roughly 5 to 200 people) put AI to work, sharpen their brand, and build systems so the company can grow without everything running through the owner. He was an AVP at AllianceBernstein, Designer in Residence at Lightbank, and Staff Product Designer at Included, an AI startup that won a 2023 SXSW Innovation Award and was later acquired by Phenom.

His approach: most businesses don't have an AI problem, they have a systems problem. You can't automate what isn't written down, so the work starts by interviewing the owner to map how work actually moves, writing down the rules only they know, and turning one recurring task at a time into an AI skill that is tested on past decisions before it's trusted.
